CARLSBAD, Calif. (January 16, 2014) – Nippon Shaft’s N.S. PRO MODUS³ steel shafts had a break out season in 2013, recording a dozen victories worldwide and innumerable top ten finishes on the PGA TOUR, European PGA Tour, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour, among others.
Victories at both the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup and the European Tour’s Race for Dubai were the most prestigious titles captured by a MODUS³ Tour 120 player, a first in history.
MODUS³ players also won the Irish Open, Thailand Open, The Evian Championship, the Tour Championship and the Champions Tour’s Mississippi Gulf Coast Resort Classic, among others.
Moreover the first American to win the European Tour Rookie-of-the-Year honor played Nippon Shaft N.S. PRO MODUS³ Tour 120 in his irons all season, including for his victory at the Madeira Islands Open in Portugal.

In addition to the victories, the N.S. PRO MODUS3 finished among the top 10 at The Masters, the Open Championship and the PGA Championship.
