NIPPON SHAFT WINS in MALLORCA

Nov 3, 2025

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Nov. 3, 2025) – A 40-year-old Englishman used Nippon Shaft steel shafts to win the Rolex Grand Final by three shots and earn his return to the DP World Tour.

The champion used N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR 120 X flex steel shafts in his irons and N.S.PRO MODUS³ WEDGE steel shafts in his wedges to shoot 15-under par at Club de Golf Alcanada on the island of Mallora on the HotelPlanner Tour. With his 13-year-old son caddying for him, he recorded rounds of 71-67-65-70—273, good for a 3-shot victory and a winner’s check of €85,000 ($98,000).

The victory resulted in the winner moving to No. 6 in the Road to Mallorca Rankings, meaning he will be headed for the top-tier European circuit next season.

“Nippon Shaft is thrilled that the Champion has earned his DP World Tour card for next year,” said Hiro Fukuda, sales and marketing for Nippon Shaft. “Our products are designed with helping players perform at peak level and we are proud to be a part of this victory.”

More than 300 players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, DP World Tour, Korn Ferry Tour and HotelPlanner Tour use Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series steel shafts to help gain their desired distance, accuracy, and trajectory.
