NIPPON SHAFT PLAYER WINS AUSTRIAN OPEN

CARLSBAD, Calif. (July 13, 2020) – A 39-year-old Scotsman used Nippon Shaft products to win the Austrian Open on Sunday, the first tournament to return since the coronavirus pandemic shut down the European Tour four months ago.
The champion used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Proto X flex steel shafts in his irons, the N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid X and N.S.PRO MODUS³ Wedge 125 steel shafts in his wedges, giving the MODUS³ series 10 product victories on world Tours this season and 212 global victories since inception in 2010.
The winner shot a 13-under par total to win by one stroke with rounds of 66-69-70-70—275 at the Diamond Country Club outside Vienna. He earned €76,823 or $86,809 for the victory, his fourth.
