NIPPON SHAFT WINS KORN FERRY TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

CARLSBAD, Calif. (September 7, 2021) – The winner of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship used N.S.PRO MODUS3 Tour 105 X flex steel shafts in his irons Sunday (September 6) to secure the victory and with it his fully exempt status on the 2021-22 PGA Tour season.

The 33-year-old Stanford alumnus shot 20-under par with rounds of 70-68-65-65—268 at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana. He won by four shots after beginning the day one stroke back. The big difference came on the back nine when he reeled off five straight birdies on holes 12-16. His winner’s check was $180,000.

It was the 251th victory for Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ Series of steel shafts recorded victory on a major world.
