NIPPON SHAFT WINS in DENMARK & OHIO

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2022) – The winners on the DP World (European) Tour and the LPGA Tour used Nippon Shaft Modus series steel shafts to earn their victories on Sunday (Sept. 4).
The 41-year-old from Mansfield, England used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 125 steel shafts in his irons and wedges to win the DP World Tour’s Made in HimmerLand in Farso, Denmark. He shot a total of 21-under par with rounds of 66-65-65-67, which included birdies on his final two holes for a one-shot margin of victory. His second European tour victory was worth €510,000 ($522,500).
Meanwhile, on the LPGA Tour, the 28-year-old Mexican used N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 105 steel shafts in her wedges, as she stormed from behind to win the Dana Open in Sylvania, Ohio. Four shots off the lead going into the final round, she made no bogeys and eight birdies, including three on her final three holes, to finish at 18-under par and win by one. Her third career LPGA Tour win resulted in a winner’s check of $262,500.
