CARLSBAD, Calif. (November 29, 2022) – The winner of the Casio World Open shot a jaw-dropping 32-under par 256 using Nippon Shaft N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 125 steel shafts in his irons. He closed with a final round 10-under 62 to win by six strokes.

The 32-year-old American shot rounds of 64-66-64-62—256 at the Kochi Kuroshio Country Club in his wire-to-wire victory, his eighth win on the Japan Golf Tour (JGTO). He broke the previous tournament record of 24-under by eight shots.

Raised in Hawaii, the former Arizona State player was the JGTO’s leading money winner in 2021 and played in three of this year’s four majors.

Meanwhile, the leading money winner for this year’s JGTO is a 27-year-old from Okinawa who also uses using Nippon Shaft N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 125 steel shafts in his irons. With one tournament remaining, he has an insurmountable lead on the money list race with ¥180,041,233 yen earned this season.
