CARLSBAD, Calif. (March 7, 2022)– The winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club in Orlando used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Tour X-flex shaft in his utility iron.

The Champion shot a 5-under par total in difficult conditions with rounds of 70-73-68-72—283 to win by one stroke and collect a winner’s check of $2,160,000.

It was the fourth career professional victory for the tall, strapping Texan, who won his first PGA Tour title two weeks ago at the WM Phoenix Open. He now sits at the top of the FedExCup standings and is fifth in the Official World Golf Rankings.

“Nippon Shaft would like to congratulate the winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational,” said Hiro Fukuda, sales and marketing for Nippon Shaft. “We are excited that he trusts the breakthrough hybrid technology Nippon Shaft has brought to the utility iron. The N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid provides the best qualities of steel and graphite and has become increasingly popular both on professional tours and with everyday golfers.”

More than 200 players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, European Tour and Korn Ferry Tour use Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series steel shafts to help gain their desired distance, accuracy, and trajectory.
