CARLSBAD, Calif. (July 10, 2023) – The winner of the 78th U.S. Women’s Open won her first major championship Sunday (July 9) using Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ 105 S flex shafts in her irons and wedges.
The 25-year-old Hawaiian shot a 9-under par total at Pebble Beach Golf Links with rounds of 69-70-71-69—279 to win by three shots and earn $2 million for the victory, her first on the LPGA Tour. She was the first American to win the championship since 2016

She finished second in the tournament for the statistic Strokes Gained Approach, which measures shots to the green, and was the only player in the field to post all four rounds under par.
