NIPPON SHAFT PLAYERS WIN HERO CHALLENGE & AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S OPEN

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2023) – Players used Nippon Shaft products last weekend to win the Tiger Woods-hosted Hero Challenge in the Bahamas and the Australian Women’s Open in Sydney.

The winner of the Hero Challenge at Albany used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Tour X-flex shaft in his utility iron Sunday enroute to a final round 68 to get to 20-under for the week. The strapping 27-year-old Texan recorded rounds of 69-66-65-68—268 for his third victory in the 2023 calendar year. His winner’s check was $1 million.

Meanwhile, in Sydney, the 34-year-old South African won her second consecutive Australian Women’s Open using the N.S. PRO 950GH neo steel shafts in her wedges and N.S. PRO 950GH shafts in her wedges. She shot a total of 9-under par 280 with rounds of 68-70-67-75 at the Australian Golf Club to win A$270,00 ($188,000).
