NIPPON SHAFT PLAYER WINS IN JAPAN

CARLSBAD, Calif. (July 16, 2024) – A 23-year-old Japanese man used Nippon Shaft’s N.S. PRO MODUS³ Prototype steel shafts in his irons to help him shoot 19-under par Sunday (July 15) and win the Japan Golf Tour’s (JGTO) Shigeo Nagashima Invitational Sega Sammy Cup at North Country Club in Japan.
The champion built his winning score on rounds of 66-68-65-68—267 to post his first victory of the season and his third on the Japan Golf Tour. He has played solid golf this season, making the cut in all 11 starts and finishing in the top 20 five times.
