NIPPON SHAFT WINS THREE TIMES WORLDWIDE

CARLSBAD, Calif. (February 11, 2025) – Players using Nippon Shaft products won three tournaments Sunday (Feb. 9) on the DP World [European] Tour, PGA Tour Champions and the European HotelPlanner [Challenge] Tour.
The 29-year-old from China used N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR120 steel shafts in his irons to shoot 16-under par to win the Qatar Masters by one shot at Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar. He sank a dramatic 15-foot putt on the final hole to secure his fourth DP World Tour victory and earned €409,592 ($426,486).
On PGA Tour Champions, the 61-year-old pony-tailed Spaniard used N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR105 steel shafts in his irons and wedges to win the Trophy Hassan II by two strokes. He shot 11-under par with rounds of 70-69-69 at the 54-hole event, making him a 14-time winner on PGA Tour Champions and $400,000 richer. He came to the 17th hole tied with his playing partner, drove the green and made eagle to pull ahead by two.
On the HotelPlanner Tour, a 32-year-old Englishman used N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR105 steel shafts in his irons and wedges to win the Cell C Cape Town Open at Royal Cape Golf Club in Cape Town, South Africa by two shots. In his first victory on the tour, he shot 14-under par 274 with rounds of 69-69-67-69 and earned €57,282 ($59,482).
