NIPPON SHAFT WINS in MEXICO and KOREA

CARLSBAD, Calif. (May 1, 2023) – For his sixth victory on the PGA Tour, the Salt Lake City native shot 24-under par using N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 120 TX steel shafts in his irons and N.S.PRO MODUS³ 125 Wedge steel shafts in his wedges to win the Mexico Open.
The 33-year-old two-time U.S. Ryder Cup team member shot 24-under par with rounds of 65-64-65-66—260 on the Norman Course at Vallarta Vidanta in Vallarta, Mexico. For his 3-shot victory he earned $1.386 million and is now ranked 11th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Nippon Shaft was also in the winning bag at the Korea Championship on the DP World Tour, with N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid contributing to the ninth professional victory for the Spanish champion.
