Golf’s Top Player Wins His Third Major Championship by 5 Strokes

CARLSBAD, Calif. (May 19, 2025) – The world’s No. 1 golfer and two-time Masters champion used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Tour X-flex shaft in his utility iron enroute to a 5-shot margin of victory in his first PGA Championship win on May 18.

The 28-year-old Texan shot a 11-under-par total with rounds of 69-68-65-71– to win at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. His birdies on No. 10, 14 and 15 in the final round enabled him to pull away from his other contenders to pocket an easy victory.
