NIPPON SHAFT HAS FOUR WORLDWIDE WINNERS

CARLSBAD, Calif. (September 15, 2025) – Players using Nippon Shaft products had victories on the PGA, LPGA, Asian/Korean/Japan, and HotelPlanner (Europe) tours on Sunday, Sept. 14.
The world’s No. 1 golfer used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Tour X-flex shaft in his utility (3) iron, September 15, to come from behind and win the Procore Championship. The 29-year-old Texan shot a 19-under-par total with rounds of 70-68-64-67—269 on the North Course at the Silverado Resort to win for the sixth time this season. He won $1.080 million in Napa, where 10 members of the U.S. Ryder Cup team teed it up in preparation for their battle with the Europeans later this month.
On the ladies’ circuit, the 29-year-old Englishwoman won the Kroger Queen City Championship using N.S. PRO MODUS³ TOUR125 S steel shafts in her irons and N.S. PRO MODUS³ TOUR120 S in her wedges to shoot 20-under par with a birdie on the last and win her third LPGA Tour title – and $300,000.
In a tournament tri-sanctioned by the Asian, Korean and Japan pro tours, a 30-year-old Japanese man used N.S.PRO MODUS³ PROTOTYPE steel shafts in his irons to win the Shinhan Donghae Open at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon. The champion shot an 18-under par total.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old veteran of the HotelPlanner Tour won the Open de Portugal using N.S. PRO MODUS³ TOUR120 steel shafts in his irons and wedges. The South African victor finished with a 15-under total, which included birdies on his final three holes. It was his second victory this season on the European developmental circuit and his sixth on the tour.
