ENGLISHMAN USES NIPPON SHAFT to WIN in GERMANY

CARLSBAD, Calif. (June 3, 2024) – A 34-year-old Englishman switched to Nippon Shaft products just before the start of the European Open and went on to win the tournament, his first on the DP World Tour.

The champion said later that he switched his shafts to the N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 120 X steel shafts in his irons to improve his improve his approach play and wound up leading the tournament in greens-in-regulation. He shot 13-under par at Green Eagle Golf Courses in Germany with rounds of 68-66-73-72, including three birdies on the back nine of his final round.
